Ft. Lauderdale Airport Brightline Station 2022 News of plans to bring Brightline to Ft. Lauderdale Airport? See Video https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/broward-people-mover/      This blog post was prompted by this story about the Florida DOT providing funding to study the building of a people mover over 3-5 years, with service starting in 2028-2030 , at Ft. Lauderdale Airport. Per some of the proposals of the Ft. Lauderdale Airport long term plan, the proposed people mover would circle the airport, with connections to an intermodal center adjacent to US 1 and the Brightline alignment with continuation to the Broward County Convention Center and Port Everglades Cruise Ship terminals on the east, and possible western extension to Tri-Rail and car rental companies . Along with the airport, these four locations would act as feeder systems to Brightline and vis a versa.  IMHO, these connecting services and the airport should incentive Brightline to Build a station at Ft. Lauderdale

Duggan Square Station                                                            By Mohammad Qureshi             LaGuardia is the closest airport to Midtown, as well as the closest airport to the proposed IBX. A rail connection between the IBX and LGA would not only make getting to LaGuardia quicker from Midtown  then either of the two other area airports. The location of an AirTrain station at 60th St and 31st Ave in Woodside, Queens, would also be ideal location for linking the IBX and the Metro North tracks to create a Arterial Rail line between three of the outer boroughs, serving commuters of all economic strata. https://welcome2thebronx.com/2021/05/17/four-new-metro-north-stations-coming-to-the-bronx/  https://buffalochronicle.com/2022/01/21/hochul-directs-mta-to-construct-new-metro-north-station-in-astoria-
